A typical evening 0_o
Usually this is how an evening of writing works for me. It's like a science.
Boot-up laptop
Get bored and start playing Candy Crush on phoneOpen Word document
Scroll through document
Reread paragraph trying to remember where I left off
Stare at Word, trying to remember all the great ideas I had while driving home from my 9-5
Type a sentence or two. Maybe more if I’m feeling saucy
Check out Facebook waiting to get inspired
Get inspired but not with writing – home décor
Stalk some decorating blogs
Follow some interesting ones
Then check out my blog
Scold myself for getting sidetrack. Write a paragraph, maybe a page, thinking, oh yeah on a roll
Candy Crush again. Finally pass that level I’ve been stuck on for a week. Give myself a silent high-five
Open YouTube and watch newest Yogscast video
Laugh butt off like an insane person. It can’t be helped.
Husband sticks head in to see what is so funny. “I thought you were writing.”
Busted. Quick close YouTube. “I am, right now.”
Get myself in the zone and write another paragraph
Find myself on Amazon reading people’s comments
Then over to Goodreads for some more lurking
Prowl on Twitter for awhile
Post a tweet, #hashtag like a madwoman
Yell at myself for being on Twitter
Pledge to writing at least 1,000 words without any interruptions
Halfway through realize I haven’t checked my emails in a few hours
Which then leads to more stalking numerous websites
Look at clock and groan. Realize I actually need to write if I am going to finish this book. Do that.
Get a new scene in my head. Stop writing what I’m writing and skip ahead to new scene
End night, ready for bed
Then all the good stuff hits. Look at laptop cooling and grab notebook
Jot down ideas for tomorrow
Hopefully I am not the only author with sporadic habits. *sighs*
Though somehow a few months later I end up with a manuscript draft. Pretty-freaking-unbelievable.

A little somethin' somethin'
I am a huge fan of Walking Dead (zombies - a total given).
I haven't quite figured it out yet, but I have serious redneck hots for Daryl.
It's Good Friday and Easter is right around the corner. I love easter. I love ham. And I love a good egg hunt. The past week I have been scoping the internet for cool easter ideas for teens. Got any for me?
Now on to the good stuff. I have put together a sneak peak into Hunting Angel. There isn't a release date set just yet, but I am thinking it will be in the next few months. If I get my butt into gear. *mentally kicks self for being so distracted my Daryl* I just can't help it ;) Warning, this is a draft and completely unedited.
Enjoy XOXO
Hellooooooo Daryl Dixon!!

“What are you doing?”
he asked, making himself at home on the couch beside me. His long legs stretched
out in front of him. Letting himself into my house whenever he felt like it, had
also become a habit.
My eyes were glued to
the screen. I fought the urge to look over at him, finding it more difficult
than it should have been. Whenever we were in the same room, I instinctual
sought him out. Our eyes would connect, the world would standstill, and then we
would go on as if nothing happened. So recently I began to challenge myself, to
see how long it would take me before I caved. “What does it look like? I’m
watching TV genius. Even you should be able to figure that out.” I answered in
a droll voice, never taking my eyes off the tube. Try as I might to ignore his
overbearing presence, I failed. Epicly.
“This is not TV,” he argued, remaining as difficult as always.
“It’s Sips and Sjin,” I
added, clenching my fists. My nails dug into my palms. It was all I could do to
not look at him.
I felt those silver
eyes on me and shifted under his gaze. “Is that supposed to mean something to
me?” His voice alone could cut straight to my heart and make it beat a million
times faster.
Tossing a handful of
green and red skittles into my mouth, I snickered at the banter between my two
favorite gamers. “They do a play through of games and post them on YouTube with
snarky humor. Its a-m-a-zing,” I informed, chewing on the wad of rainbow candy.
“Attractive.” His
weight sunk his side of the couch.
I grinned, finally giving
in and meeting those smoky eyes that haunted my dreams, no matter how much I
willed otherwise. “It’s totally turning you on,” I teased over exaggerating my
chomping. I hated that just a peek at him in his ripped jeans and black t-shirt
could leave me breathless.
Joke was on me. His
silver eyes flickered gold, and he shot me a devilish grin. “You’re right.”
Shit.
I swallowed. Well that
totally backfired. My pulsed picked up, and I could feel myself pulled toward
that god-worthy body. “Whatever,” I shot back weakly and returned my attention
to the TV, though at this point he’d ruined it for me.
My feet were pressed
against his thigh, seared by his incredible heat. He was like an inferno. “Okay.
So let me get this straight. Instead of playing video games, you are now watching
someone else play video games?”
I kicked him lightly in
the thigh. “You got a problem with it – leave.” I put on a much braver front
than I felt. Truthfully, if he did leave, I knew that moment he was gone I would
miss him. Pathetic.
“God you are lame.”
That was it. I didn’t
even think about what I did, I just tossed whatever was in my hand directly at
Chase’s smirking mouth.
It happened to be the
remote control.
I watched as his hand
snatched it out of the air before it connected with his beautiful bad boy face.
Damn his demon reflexes. “Nice try Angel Eyes. I love it when you are feisty.”
I scowled at him. “My mom
is upstairs you know.”
He lifted that stupid
brow with the hoop in it. Enviously long lashes fanned around his twinkling
eyes. “That sounds like a challenge.”
“God you are warped.”
His wrist snaked out
before I even saw it coming, gripping my ankle. With a quick tug he pulled me
to him, and I shrieked in surprise. “You like it,” he murmured, his breath
tickling my skin.
Suddenly I found myself
in a very precarious position straddled over his lap. Being this close to Chase
meant trouble – of the good kind. I pushed aside the butterflies of excitement
and anticipation. My body knew what was about to follow the kind of look he was
giving me, and it was on high alert. “If you came over for a quick tumble
you’ll be sadly disappointed.” I tried to sound completely bored and
uninterested.
Yet the golden gleam in
his eyes said no one was fooled, least of all him. His hands spanned on either
side of my hips burning right through the flimsy white cotton of my shorts. I
cursed myself for not wearing more clothes, like lots of layers. No instead I
strolled around the house in next to nothing.
“Nothing I ever do is
quick Angel.”

Every time I hear this song...
Every time I hear this song...No joke, I think of Chase and Angel. Maybe its because I have been diligently working on Hunting Angel or maybe it is just because Chase is trouble (usually the good kind). Regardless, this song inspires me.
I am a huge Taylor Swift fan (this actually currently my ringtone. I love it that much).
Sometime next week a second edition of Saving Angel will be uploaded with so much needed editing. Losing Emma will follow in the next few weeks. Thank you Elena, you are life saver!
I am still amazed at the emails and comments I get about this series. It means the the world, it makes me want to keep on writing.

Description:
Lukas is alive.
I’m talking in the flesh, and he is just as dreamy as ever.
Problem is I haven’t told Gavin. There are just no words to tell someone that your dreams… really aren’t just dreams. And I’m a sucky liar. When the two actually met, it’s a freaking disaster. Like fists flying, magic swirling and tempers flaring.
Ugh. Boys.
But Lukas and I have something in common, other than sharing dreams. Our magic has similar signatures. Nobody knows what that means. And as much as I know that it kills Gavin, Lukas is helping me control it.
The more I use my magic, the more trouble seems to find me. Loads of it. Turns out my magic might just be more dangerous than anyone bargained for.
But mostly I’m scared that my worst nightmare might come true. Gavin will give up on us.
