Divisa Christmas - A bonus scene

Christmas is right around the corner, and I thought I would share this bonus scene from Chase Winters as a gift.

I actually started writing this last year, but I had too many deadlines to meet that I was unable to dedicate the time. But this year, I couldn't resist. There is something about Chase and Angel, they demand my attention even when I'm on a different project. Go figure. Just like them.

This is a scene from Chasing Angel during their first Christmas together. I'm actually surprise they didn't set the tree on fire. (maybe next Christmas. That would hilarious. Now I am dying to write that.)

I posted the bonus scene over on my Wattpad. I'm loving Wattpad. No clue what took me so long join =) Click here to read about A Divisa Christmas.

Merry Christmas!!!

Oh, one more thing...

I love you guys. XOXO

Loving Angel - Early Release. Today!

If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, than you already know about this.

Loving Angel is out! Today! Eeeep!

I decided to go ahead and release the 4th book in The Divisa Series 2 weeks early, well, because it was one the many perks of being an indie author =) And because I heart you guys. *cyber hug*

I am going to keep this short and sweet, mostly because I am totally sick. The gross, snotty nose, ear-ringing, sneezing-fest, brillo pad throat kind of sick. Sorry, TMI?

You can get it on Amazon here.

If you need it from somewhere other than Amazon, I will have all the links on my website www.jlweil.com.

I hope you guys enjoy!!!! Chase was as prickly to write as he is in the story. Does that even make sense? In my clogged, cold-infested head, it does.

Description:

Loving Angel isn’t easy. Actually, it’s downright exhausting, but somehow she weaseled her way into my life. She has become my everything—my reason for existing—my reason for breathing. I love the ever-loving crap out of Angel Eyes. There is nothing I wouldn’t endure for her—even college.

College. Ugh.

I hope the frat boys, the jocks, and the nerds are prepared for what is about to embark on their school this fall. Half-demons. Hunters. And um, the Keystone? Yeah, that is going to take getting used to.

We aren’t exactly your average freshman. And somehow I find myself stuck with a bunch of troublesome females to look after. Angel. Emma. Lexi. Pretty sure I got the raw end of the stick.

But that isn’t the worst of it. There is someone lurking in the shadows—spying and stalking my girlfriend. He is a dead man. How many people am I going to have to kill for this girl? A better question would be how many people wouldn’t I kill for her?

As many as it took.

Angel is about to experience betrayal of the worst kind. And this time, it’s not entirely my fault—shocker.

Saving Angel - Indie Book of the Day Award!

What!? An award!

This is a joke, right?

Holy banana boat. This is…

How did I get so lucky? Because I have the best readers!

Saving Angel was nominated for Indie Book of the Day. This is my first award! And I bet Chase and Angel would be ecstatic! I know I am.

I am going to frame this and hang it next to all my book covers. After I make goggly eyes at for the next hour O.O

Upcoming fun stuff on my Blog!

I want to do some fun blogging for the upcoming release of Loving Angel, so along with the Tuesday Teasers, where you will a glimpse inside the book, there will also be Thursday Takeovers. One of the characters from the Divisa series will be taking over my blog.

 Oh goodie!

Disclaimer: I can't be held responsible for what craziness might gone done on Thursday's. There is nothing more unpredictable than smoldering, egotistical half-demon's...and females.

Should be loads of fun! And I will try my best to stay on top of it =)

Teaser & Book #5 of The Divisa Series

 This cracked me up!!!

I could see Chase saying the same thing about Angel - LOL

Summer has began - thank God. I will be spending my finishing up Loving Angel, which I hope to release in September. There will be some teasers in the future. I am thinking about doing one a week until release.

Let's start today!!

Loving Angel Teaser:

***
I made the turn into the Spring Valley High. This would be the last time we pulled up together in this school parking lot. In a way, I was sad. It was here, in this school that Angel and I had spent a lot of our time together. Chemistry class had never been so combustible, and it hadn’t been the experiments going up in flames. Nope—it had been us.

  ***

Also, I wanted to announce the title for the next book in the series. It is not yet plotted out, but it might be the last book in the series... *sad face*

New Series Announcement

Now that I have finished Moondust, I am super excited to announce my new series. It took me a few weeks to decide what my next project was going to be, and these two characters have been stuck in my head.

The cover has already been drafted, and I will be revealing shortly. And I am in love with this book cover!

Get ready to meet Piper and Zane, in White Raven, book #1 in the Raven Series.

This is a Teen Paranormal Romance with Gaelic elements. The supernatural creatures are four Underlords of the Apocalypse.
I will be releasing more information and teasers over the next few months as I write the story. Piper and Zane's story is going to be combustible. They might set the pages on fire...I hope.

There is a little teaser on my blog. I will be working on this book over the summer alongside Loving Angel, for a winter 2014 release!

**This book is still in development and subject to change.

Moondust Release Day!

Wait! What?

Yep. It is finally here. The long awaited release of Moondust, and I am so excited! This was my first series, and it is such a bittersweet feeling seeing the Trilogy come to an end.

Hope you guys enjoy the end to Bri and Gavin's story!!

Description:

The golden witch or the dark witch? Those are my choices, both exceptionally heart stopping, but couldn’t be more poplar opposites.

One was like the brightest stream of sunshine. A close friend—so I keep telling myself. The lines of our friendship blur. Lukas knows all my secrets, all my worries, and all my dreams—considering he is often part of them. Now that he is very much real and not a figment of my imagination, things are not the same. I can’t shake the feeling the something epic is brewing under the surface.

The other I love with my last dying breath. Gavin is not only dark and dangerous, but the magic he wields is just as ominous. Deadly. Lethal. Destructive. A magical assassin, if there is such a thing. It is a fine line to walk and can easily tumble down the wrong path of dark arts. But he holds my heart and my happiness, even after I almost accidentally killed him. My magic is eerily and freakishly unpredictable.

I’m a clàr silte. Whatever that means.

There are those who cloud my decisions, make me doubt myself, what I feel. The way I see it, there are only two choices set in front of me: I was going to be killed, or I was going to be used as a weapon. Neither of them sounds appealing. My future is looking bleak and troublesome, filled with uncertainty.

In the end, I would have to make the toughest decision, face my hardest task in a journey of self-discovery. There is evil working among us, threatening all those I love, and I would do whatever it takes to protect them.

Or maybe the evil is me.

Okay. Wow!

Okay. Wow!
Starbound is sitting pretty at #3 on Amazon's Hot New Releases!
Excuse me while I take a moment...*screams like a banshee*

Seriously, I can't thank my readers enough for picking up one of my books. I don't know how else to say it.

It is a huge accomplishment to the girl who didn't think a single person would read or let alone enjoy a book she wrote.

And I would never have gotten the courage to write another if it wasn't for the amazing support that I got from you guys. Being an indie author my journey has had its ups and downs, but I have learned a lot from you guys. And I thank you for it!

Sometimes, when I get really excited, I run through the house screaming. This might have been one of those times.
