The Divisa Series Audiobook

The Divisa Series will be available on Audiobook!

My thoughts exactly.

I am currently in the process of holding auditions and have narrowed it down to 2 producers. Once I make the decision, the recording process will start. I don't know the exact timetable, but they will be available for purchase on audibles.com in the order that I wrote them. As soon as Saving Angel is available, I will let you guys know.

Oooo. And don't forget. Moondust is out tomorrow!!!!

Divisa Questions...

I've been getting some questions about Chasing Angel and/or parts of the book. So I thought I would take a minute and answer some of those questions.

I have also been getting a ton of ah-ma-zing emails and comments from you guys regarding the series. You guys are the shit! (I have the worst sailor mouth, and I usually tone it down for my books and my posts, but it can't be helped here. It is just the truth!) I can't tell you guys how much I heart that you love Chase and Angel as much as I do.

1. Is Loving Angel going to be a continuation, or will it be a retelling of the current books?

This is by far the most popular question recently. Loving Angel will be the 4th book in the series ,and it will be a continuation. The story will pick up where Chasing Angel left off, but from Chase's POV.

I get asked all the time to write scenes from his POV, which I love to do, so I thought, heck, why not write a whole book from that smexy boy's head.

2. When will Loving Angel be released?

Honestly, I haven't even thought about it. Probably later 2014. I have 2 other projects that I am committed to. One for my Publisher, the 3rd book in the Luminescence Trilogy. It unusually takes me 2-3 months to write a book.

3. What is up with Emma? The whole mind-control-thingy seemed too easy.

Agreed. I struggled with that the entire time I wrote Chasing Angel, but I could never find the right moment in the story for the conflict I had in mind for poor Emma. But rest assured that it is going to make an appearance in Loving Angel. Oh Chase, he is going to have his hands full with troublesome girls.

4. Is Loving Angel the final book?

I actually don't have an end in sight for this series yet. I am thinking there will be at least 2 more books, maybe even a spinoff for Lexi??? Who knows. I am one of those writers who doesn't have an outline or a storyboard. I just sort of let the story write itself 0_o Does that make sense?

Well, that is all I can think of off the top of my head. If you have a question, leave me a comment below or send me an email.

Dear Santa letters from Angel & Chase...Oh boy

Dear Santa,

I am sure this letter will get lost as I live in Hickville and the mailman sucks, but on the off chance that we don't get snowed in...

There is only one thing I want this Christmas, and it's not something that can be bought (well, who knows, maybe there is a price on his head), made, or shipped from eBay.

Chase Winters.

My egotistical, stab-worthy, smexy, heart-stopping neighbor. He drives me utterly insane, but for some ungodly reason I find that hawt. There is no explaining my heart to my head—I stopped trying.

I know that it is probably a bizarre request, but he isn't exactly your average guy. We sort of have this demon-bond, it's complicated, and honestly, inconceivable. But he has got it stuck in his thick head that he has morals.

I am probably the only girl in the world who only wants to lose her V-card for Christmas. That is not too much to ask, is it?

Sarcastically forever yours,

Angel Morgan

Dear Ho, Ho, Ho dude,

So writing letters to chubby fictional guys in red suitstotally not my thing.

My thing just so happens to be a petite, hellcat who has turned my world upside down. I don't know whether I should curse the fates or thank them.

If I could wish for anything this year, it would be that she lives. I don't want what I am and the dangers that follow me, to get in her way of having a normal life (well, as normal as normal can be for her). I don't want her to end up dead. Again. Something tells me that Death won't barter her existence a second time.

Finicky bastard.

Before Angel, I'd never asked anyone for anything. Now, I would beg on both knees for safety, for her happiness, for love. I know that this is an impossible request, but I figured it was worth a shot.

Forever damned,

Chase Winters

PS. If you could sneak some mistletoe over her bed, I would be forever in your debt.

MERRY CHRISTMAS from Chase, Angel, and me!!! We love and adore you guys to the max.

The Divisa Series - it's expanding

Starting in December, the Divisa series is FINALLY going to be available in other venues like Barnes & Nobles, Smashwords, & the Apple store.

Why wasn't available before?

Well, Amazon has this KDP Select program that allows authors to lend the books to Amazon's library, and also lets you do promo days like FREEBIES. But it locks you into a 3 month period at a time and permits authors from listing it on any other site. This was pretty successful for me, and I loved being able to offer my books for free occasionally =)

I have gotten requests lately about the book being available for the Nook, so I have decided to give B&N another shot.

There are also going to be some upcoming bonus scenes from Chase's POV. I am thinking about doing Christmas and Valentines Day bonus material. If you guys have any requests, let me know.

I have also hinted for the last few months that there was going to be another book in the series =) It is true. The next book will be LOVING ANGEL, and it will be entirely from Chase's POV. I am very excited!!!

Unfortunately I do have a few projects scheduled before I can get to this book, so I don't have a clue when it will be released. *sad face*

There are some awesome Giveaways scheduled for the upcoming Holidays - check back for deets!!!

XOXO

I threw this in just because I never get tired of looking at it!!

Divisa Covers are here...

Eeeeeee!!!!!

I am beyond excited.

These covers are so freaking-fan-tasic! I feel like that the Divisa series was lacking some really kickass covers and these deliver. So I had original planned to release one a day, but I just can't contain myself. I suck at surprises - no patience.

Instead I am going to share them all now, except...sorry. I am holding one back...CHASING ANGEL's cover. There will be a cover reveal tour for that one, which I am working on currently.

Can I get another Eeeeeee!

Ok, here you go. Tell me what you think. Also I have to give the worlds biggest shout-out to Kelly Walker who is the designer. I heart her tons <3

Don't forget that Breaking Emma is out tomorrow! What a week.

Divisa series gets a Makeover...

That's right, the Divisa series is getting a makeover. What does that mean? Between now and the end of the year (just a guess) there will be new awesome covers - heck yes! They will also be going through a new revision process as well. The goal is a whole new look ;)

I am very excited@_@

I am finishing the last edits on Breaking Emma which is set to release on Oct. 18th, but I might move it up a week depending on how fast the edits go. The last few weeks have been crazy-crazy. I spent yesterday shopping with my parents in Lake Geneva, WI and ate at my favorite restaurant. So nice to enjoy such a beautiful day, not it is back to the grind.

Hope you guys have a great week!!!

Exciting Guests - The lo down from Chase & Angel

Guys, I have a special treat for you today. The other day I did a Q&A about the Divisia series and today we have two awesome guests from the books. They have agreed to answer a few questions.

Me: Chase & Angel, say hello...
Angel: "Hey."
Chase: "Sup."
Angel: *eye roll*

Me: "Chase, the fans are dying to know if you are single?"
Chase: "Define single."
Angel: *kicks him*
Chase: "Ouch. What was that for?"
Me: "Are you dating anyone special?"
Chase: "Am I ever."

Me: "Ookay, now that we have sort of established that you two are still an item, Angel what is it like to be linked to Chase?"
Angel: "It is like having the worst period cramp of your life."
Chase: *snickers* "Come on Angel Eyes, you love being bonded to me. What girl wouldn't?"
Angel: "See what I have to deal with."

Me: "Chase, what is it like to be a sex symbol?"
Chase: "It's just a burden I've had to live with."
Angel: *snorts very unlady-like*

Me: "Moving on. Angel would you say that your relationship with Chase was love at first sight?"
Angel: "It was more like love at first glare."
Me: "Chase?"
Chase: "Ditto."

Me: "I have to ask. Angel, is Chase a good kisser?"
Chase: *smirks*
Angel: *flushes* "Umm."
Chase: "You better have something other than umm. Do you need a refresher?"
Angel: "Keep your lips to yourself bucko. His kisses are like...dynamite. They are explosive."
Chase: *smugly leans close* "Later then..."
Me: *fans self* "Whoa that was intense."

Me: "Thanks guys. It's was...interesting."
Chase: "We like to keep things spontaneous."
Me: "I just bet you do." *giggles*

Q&A - Divisa Series

So I thought I would do a Q&A on the Divisa Series, maybe answer a few questions people have been pondering. If there was a question I didn't touch upon, leave me a comment =)

1. When will Chasing Angel be released?
I don't know. Sorry guys, that is a sucky answer. There are a bunch of factors that will determine the release. And one them I can't say. The other one is the readers. There is a current running poll for the summer to decide which book I should write next, so if you want to reading Chasing Angel, vote!

2. Is Chasing Angel the last book in the series?
Hmmm. If you would have asked me prior to writing Hunting Angel, I would have said yes, but now that it is complete I am just not positive that this will be the last book. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

3. What is up with the Divisa mark?
It is a mark given to half-human, half-demon from the demon that sired them. The mark distinguishes which demon bloodline they were born from and each is unique to the demon. So Lexi and Travis share the same mark, they were both sired from the same demon, whereas Chase's is different.

4. Is the Divisa series only available for the Kindle?
As of right now it is only on Amazon, but you can also purchase a paperback through Amazon or Createspace as well. Hopefully in the future it will branch out to other platforms.

5. What does it mean to be half-demon?
Well, being half demon is like having another being inside you. One that can be destructive, wild, out-of-control, dangerous. It sort of like having split personalities I guess. There is this demon that lives inside them that they constantly struggle to keep under wraps. During the day, the demon often lays dormant. It is when the sunsets that things start to get dicey.

6. What does Divisa mean?
Divisa is actually a Latin word that means divided. When I was looking for a name to the species of half-humans, half-demons I knew I wanted to use a Latin or maybe a Celtic word, so googled (my best friend). And I came across the word for divided and it just fit. They are literally divided between their human half and their demon half.

Ummm that's all for now, I think. Let me know if you there is something you want to know more about. I also love to do interviews. Actually, I did my first video interview over the weekend, and I will be posting links to those videos when they become available. It was very informal and so much fun. Two girls chitchatting about their love for books. I had a blast Elena - Thank you!!

Updated covers - Divisa

So some of you might have already noticed, but I have updated the covers for 2 of the books in the Divisa series.

Why?

Well, cuz I just wasn't happy with them. I am thinking that for my next series I will be seeking someone to design the covers for me. I love the design process, but I just don't have the time anymore that they require. I'd rather write ;)

If anyone has good references, please let me know as I will be on the hunt. (lol...hunt)

In case you haven't seen them...

They are also up on my Divisa tab and on Goodreads.
